A straight side press is a machine that changes the size or shape of a piece of material (usually sheet metal), by applying pressure to a die in which the workpiece is held during the fabrication process.
This particular brand is a HEIM that is 96 inches in length and weighs 50,000 pounds. Along with it we delivered a Wysong Shear weighing 6,000 pounds.
A lot of these machines are purchased at auction, and sometimes are shipped overseas. This particular one went from Deerfield Beach to Apopka Florida.
