A computer numerical control (CNC) router is a computer-controlled cutting machine. They’re used for making precision cuts into various materials such as wood, composites, aluminum, steel, plastics, glass, and foams. Similar to a CNC milling machine, the tool paths are controlled via computer numerical control.
Needless to say that these machines are as delicate as they are heavy. When purchased either from the factory, or at auction (as in this case), transporting them needs to be managed by experienced mechanical equipment riggers.
This KOMO Vouter has FANUC control. The metal fabrication client in Coral Springs called us to rig out, load, transport, deliver, unload and set ion place this 14,000 CNC router.
As you can also tell, we love what we do!
