Successful Completion of a Complex Machinery Relocation Project
Pedowitz Machinery Movers recently completed an intricate and extensive project for a prominent gun manufacturer from oversea. This customer purchased 17 Mazak machines, along with their corresponding conveyors, coolant tanks, filters, and compressors. Our task was not only to store these pieces of equipment but also to ensure their safe transport and precise installation at the new facility in Palm Beach County, Florida.
Upon arrival of the machinery, our team meticulously unloaded the incoming trucks. Each piece of equipment was carefully handled to prevent any damage, ensuring that the machines remained in pristine condition throughout the unloading process. Given the extensive nature of the machinery, which included 17 conveyors, 17 coolant tanks, 17 filters, and 3 compressors, our storage facilities were strategically organized to accommodate these components efficiently. The machines were stored for over a year, highlighting our capability to provide long-term storage solutions that prioritize security and accessibility.
The complexity of the project increased as we coordinated the logistics for transporting these machines to the new facility in West Palm Beach. The facility was still under construction and awaiting permit approvals, which meant that timing and precision were crucial. Our team seamlessly loaded the equipment onto transport trucks, ensuring that each piece was securely fastened for the journey.
Upon arrival in West Palm Beach, the meticulous process of unloading and uncrating each piece began. Our skilled team worked alongside Mazak technicians to ensure that each machine was set in place according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
